He asked the Prophet of Allah ﷺ, "Which deed is best?"He replied, "Faith in Allah and struggle in the path of Allah."

Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Emancipation, Chapter on Which Slaves are Most Excellent, hadith 2518, and Muslim in the Book of Faith, Chapter Explaining that Faith in Allah is the Most Excellent of Deeds, hadith 84, from the hadith of Urwa through the same chain, and it is in al-Kubra, hadith 4337.
