No one weeps out of fear of Allah and is then touched by the Fire, until milk returns to the udder. And the dust of Allah's path and the smoke of Hell will never combine in the nostrils of a Muslim.
أخبرنا أحمد بن سليمان قال حدثنا جعفر بن عون قال حدثنا مسعر عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن عن عيسى بن طلحة
لا يبكي أحد من خشية الله فتطعمه النار حتى يرد اللبن في الضرع ولا يجتمع غبار في سبيل الله ودخان جهنم في منخري مسلم أبدا
[Its chain of transmission is sahih]. Bayhaqi narrated it in Shuab al-Iman 1/490, no. 801, from the hadith of Jafar bin Awn, in this manner, as a mawquf report, and it is also in his Kubra, no. 4315. Ibn Majah narrated it, no. 2774, and others, from the hadith of Misar bin Kidam, in this manner, as a marfu report, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 1598. Both routes are sahih, and the hadith has many corroborating witnesses.
