The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been commanded to fight people until they say, 'There is no god but Allah.' Whoever says, 'There is no god but Allah,' has protected his wealth and his life from me, except by its right, and his reckoning is with Allah."
أخبرنا يونس بن عبد الأعلى والحارث بن مسكين قراءة عليه وأنا أسمع عن ابن وهب قال أخبرني يونس عن ابن شهاب قال حدثني سعيد بن المسيب أن
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال أمرت أن أقاتل الناس حتى يقولوا لا إله إلا الله فمن قال لا إله إلا الله عصم مني ماله ونفسه إلا بحقه وحسابه على الله
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Jihad and Expeditions, Chapter on the Prophet'sﷺ call to Islam and prophethood, etc., hadith no. 2946, and Muslim, in the Book of Faith, Chapter on the command to fight people until they say there is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, etc., hadith no. 21, from the hadith of Ibn Shihab through this chain. Muslim also narrated it from the hadith of Abdullah bin Wahb through this chain, and it is found in Sunan al-Kubra, hadith no. 4298.
