The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever reaches Jam with the imam and the people before they depart from it has caught the Hajj, and whoever does not reach it with the people and the imam has missed it."
أخبرنا محمد بن قدامة قال حدثني جرير عن مطرف عن الشعبي
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أدرك جمعا مع الإمام والناس حتى يفيض منها فقد أدرك الحج ومن لم يدرك مع الناس والإمام فلم يدرك
