The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The day of Arafah, the day of Sacrifice, and the days of Tashriq are our festival, the festival of the people of Islam, and they are days of eating and drinking."
أخبرني عبيد الله بن فضالة بن إبراهيم قال أنبأنا عبد الله وهو ابن يزيد المقرئ قال حدثنا موسى بن علي قال سمعت أبي يحدث
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن يوم عرفة ويوم النحر وأيام التشريق عيدنا أهل الإسلام وهي أيام أكل وشرب
Graded, its isnad is hasan. Abu Dawud collected it in the Book of Fasting, chapter on fasting the days of Tashriq, no. 2419, from the hadith of Musa bin Ali, from him. It is also in Kubra, no. 3995. Tirmidhi said, no. 773, hasan sahih. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 958, as did Hakim, 1/434, and Dhahabi. The hadith has corroborating narrations. Ali here is Ibn Rabah.
