I said to Anas, while we were heading from Mina to Arafat, "What did you used to do regarding the talbiyah with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on this day?"He replied, "The one reciting the talbiyah would recite it and no one objected to him, and the one saying takbir would say it and no one objected to him."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Eids, chapter on takbir during the days of Mina and when going out to Arafah, hadith no. 970, from Abu Naeem. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter on talbiyah and takbir when going from Mina to Arafat on the day of Arafah, hadith no. 1285, through the hadith of Malik, with this wording. It is also found in Muwatta (Yahya), 1/337, and in Kubra, hadith no. 3991.
