Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ descended from Safa and his feet reached the floor of the valley, he would run until he came out of it.
أخبرنا محمد بن سلمة والحارث بن مسكين قراءة عليه وأنا أسمع عن ابن القاسم قال حدثني مالك عن جعفر بن محمد عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان إذا نزل من الصفا مشى حتى إذا انصبت قدماه في بطن الوادي سعى حتى يخرج منه
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Ahmad narrated it: 3/388, from the hadith of Malik, by the same chain, and it is found in the Muwatta (Yahya): 1/374, 375, and in Kubra, hadith: 3975.
