Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray in the same garment in which he had been intimate with his wife?She replied, "Yes, as long as he saw no impurity on it."
أخبرنا عيسى بن حماد قال حدثنا الليث عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن سويد بن قيس عن معاوية بن حديج عن معاوية بن أبي سفيان أنه سأل
هل كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي في الثوب الذي كان يجامع فيه قالت نعم إذا لم ير فيه أذى
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Abu Dawud reported it in Tahara, chapter "Prayer in a garment that a person has intercourse in," no. 366, from Isa bin Hammad with this same chain, and Ibn Majah reported it, no. 540, through the hadith of Layth bin Saad with this same chain. It also appears in Kubra, no. 287. The hadith has other routes of transmission found in Ibn Khuzayma, Ibn Hibban, and others.
