The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Were it not that your people," and in the narration of Muhammad, "your people are recent in their break from the days of ignorance, I would have demolished the Kaabah and made two doors for it."So when Ibn Zubayr came to power, he made two doors for it.

إن رسول الله ﷺ قال لولا أن قومي وفي حديث محمد قومك حديث عهد بجاهلية لهدمت الكعبة وجعلت لها بابين فلما ملك ابن الزبير جعل لها بابين
Sourcing, [Its isnad is sahih]. It is in Kubra, no. 3884, and Bukhari also recorded it in the Book of Knowledge, in the chapter "Whoever..." etc, no. 126, from the hadith of Abu Ishaq, who omitted part of the wording, fearing that the understanding of some people might fall short, from Aswad, from Ibn Zubayr, from Ayesha, with the same wording.
