The Prophet ﷺ said, "A prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers in any other mosque, except for the Kaabah."
أخبرنا عمرو بن علي قال حدثنا محمد قال حدثنا شعبة عن سعد بن إبراهيم قال سمعت أبا سلمة قال سألت الأغر عن هذا الحديث فحدث الأغر أنه سمع
أن النبي ﷺ قال صلاة في مسجدي هذا أفضل من ألف صلاة فيما سواه من المساجد إلا الكعبة
Muslim narrated it, Hajj, Chapter on the merit of prayer in the two masjids of Makkah and Madinah, no. 507/1394, from the hadith of Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman, and Bukhari, Chapter on the merit of prayer in the masjid of Makkah and Madinah, no. 1190, from the hadith of Aghar by the same wording, and it is in Kubra, no. 3882.
