The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered Mecca through the upper mountain pass at Batha and left through the lower pass.
أخبرنا عمرو بن علي قال حدثنا يحيى قال حدثنا عبيد الله قال حدثني نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ دخل مكة من الثنية العليا التي بالبطحاء وخرج من الثنية السفلى
Bukhari related it in the Book of Hajj, chapter "From Where One Leaves Makkah," hadith no. 1576, and Muslim related it in the Book of Hajj, chapter "The Recommendation of Entering Makkah from the Upper Pass," etc., hadith no. 1257, from the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed Qattan with this same chain, and it is also in al-Kubra, hadith no. 3848.
