A man in the state of ihram was thrown by his she-camel and killed. He was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said, "Wash him and shroud him, but do not cover his head and do not bring perfume near him, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection reciting the talbiyah."
أخبرني محمد بن قدامة قال حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن الحكم عن سعيد بن جبير
وقصت رجلا محرما ناقته فقتلته فأتي رسول الله ﷺ فقال اغسلوه وكفنوه ولا تغطوا رأسه ولا تقربوه طيبا فإنه يبعث يهل
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of the Penalty for Game, in the chapter on what is prohibited of perfume for one who has entered the sacred pilgrim state, man or woman, through the hadith of Jareer bin Abdul-Hameed, by this same chain. It is also found in Kubra, hadith no. 3839, hadith no. 1839, from
