While I was lying with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ under the woolen blanket, my menstrual period suddenly began. I slipped away and put on the clothes I wore during menstruation.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Has your period started?"I replied, "Yes."He then called me back, and I lay down with him again under the blanket.

بينما أنا مضطجعة مع رسول الله ﷺ في الخميلة إذ حضت فانسللت فأخذت ثياب حيضتي فقال رسول الله ﷺ أنفست قلت نعم فدعاني فاضطجعت معه في الخميلة
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Menstruation, Chapter on lying with a menstruating woman under one cover, Hadith 296, from the hadith of Muaz bin Hisham. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Menstruation, Chapter on those who called postnatal bleeding menstruation, Hadith 298, from the hadith of Hisham Dastawai with the same chain. It is also found in Kubra, Hadith 277.
