The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man driving a sacrificial camel and said, "Ride it."The man replied, "Messenger of Allah, it is a sacrificial camel."He said, "Ride it, woe to you," on the second or third time.
أخبرنا قتيبة عن مالك عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
أن رسول الله ﷺ رأى رجلا يسوق بدنة قال اركبها قال يا رسول الله إنها بدنة قال اركبها ويلك في الثانية أو في الثالثة
Citation. Bukhari narrated it in the book of Adab, in the chapter on what has been said about a man saying, "Woe to you," hadith 6160, from Qutayba. Muslim narrated it in the book of Hajj, in the chapter on the permissibility of riding a sacrificial camel donated as a gift for one who needs it, hadith 1322, from the hadith of Malik, in similar wording. It is also found in the Muwatta (Yahya's recension), 1/377, and in the Sunan al-Kubra, hadith 3781.
