Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Menstruation, chapter titled "A menstruating woman washing her husband's head and combing his hair," hadith no. 295, and see also hadith no. 5925, from the hadith of Malik. Muslim also transmitted it in the Book of Menstruation, chapter titled "The permissibility of a menstruating woman washing her husband's head," etc, hadith no. 9/297, from the hadith of Hisham, with the same wording. It is also found in Muwatta (Yahya), 60/1, and in Kubra, hadith no. 270.
