This open plain of yours, where you tell lies about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ only began his pilgrimage rites from the mosque of Dhul Hulayfah.
أخبرنا قتيبة عن حاتم بن إسماعيل عن موسى بن عقبة
بيداؤكم هذه التي تكذبون فيها على رسول الله ﷺ ما أهل رسول الله ﷺ إلا من مسجد ذي الحليفة
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter on raising the voice in ihram at the masjid of Zulhulayfa, hadith no. 1541, and Muslim, in the Book of Hajj, chapter on commanding the people of Madinah to enter ihram from the masjid of Zulhulayfa, hadith no. 23/1186, both from the hadith of Malik through this same chain. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 3738, and in Muwatta (Yahya's recension), 1/332.
