The head of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would be resting in the lap of one of us while she was menstruating, and he would be reciting the Quran.
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم وعلي بن حجر واللفظ له أنبأنا سفيان عن منصور عن أمه
كان رأس رسول الله ﷺ في حجر إحدانا وهي حائض وهو يتلو القرآن
Bukhari transmitted it in Hayd, chapter on a man reciting Quran while resting in his wife's lap, hadith no. 7549/29, from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri. Muslim transmitted it in Hayd, chapter on the permissibility of washing the head of a menstruating woman, etc., hadith no. 301, from the hadith of Mansur bin Abdul-Rahman Hijabi, from his mother Safiya bint Shayba, with this wording, concerning her husband, and it is also found in Kubra, hadith no. 268.
