I was with Ali when the Prophet ﷺ appointed him over Yemen, and I obtained some uqiyyahs of gold along with him. When Ali came to the Prophet ﷺ, Ali said, "I found that Fatimah had sprinkled the house with perfume."He continued, "I stepped over it, and she said to me, 'What is the matter with you? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has commanded his companions, and they have exited the state of ihram.'"Ali said, "I replied, 'I entered ihram with the same intention as the Prophet ﷺ.'"He said, "So I went to the Prophet ﷺ, and he asked me, 'What did you do?'"I said, "I entered ihram with whatever you entered ihram for."He said, "I have brought the sacrificial animal with me and combined hajj and umrah."

كنت مع علي حين أمره النبي ﷺ على اليمن فأصبت معه أواقي فلما قدم علي على النبي ﷺ قال علي وجدت فاطمة قد نضحت البيت بنضوح قال فتخطيته فقالت لي ما لك فإن رسول الله ﷺ قد أمر أصحابه فأحلوا قال قلت إني أهللت بإهلال النبي ﷺ قال فأتيت النبي ﷺ فقال لي كيف صنعت قلت إني أهللت بما أهللت قال فإني قد سقت الهدي وقرنت
