The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Who will guarantee me one thing and have Paradise in return?"Yahya said, "Here there is a word whose meaning is that he should not ask people for anything."

[Its isnad is sahih]. Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Zakat, chapter on the dislike of begging, hadith no. 1837, from Abu Hadith Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Dhib, through him, and it is also found in al-Kubra, hadith no. 2371. It has a corroborating witness in Dawud, hadith no. 1643, and elsewhere, and its chain is sahih.
