Abdullah bin Umar reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever seeks refuge in Allah, grant him refuge. Whoever asks of you by Allah, give to him. Whoever seeks protection by Allah, protect him. And whoever does you a kindness, repay him. If you find nothing with which to repay him, then pray for him until you know that you have repaid him."

Daifأخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا أبو عوانة عن الأعمش عن مجاهد
عن ابن عمر قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ من استعاذ بالله فأعيذوه ومن سألكم بالله فأعطوه ومن استجار بالله فأجيروه ومن آتى إليكم معروفا فكافئوه فإن لم تجدوا فادعوا له حتى تعلموا أن قد كافأتموه

Its chain is daif.Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Zakat, in the chapter on giving to one who asks by Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, no. 1672 and no. 5109, from the hadith of Amash, with the same wording. It is also found in al-Kubra, no. 2348. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 2071 and 2072, as did Hakim, 1/412, saying it meets the criteria of the two Shaykhs, and Dhahabi agreed with him.Amash narrated it using "an" (indicating possible tadlis), as noted earlier at no. 30, and between him and Mujahid stands Ibrahim Taymi (Mawarid Zaman, no. 2072). The hadith has corroborating reports, all of which are daif.
