The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded that the Fitr charity be paid before the people go out to the prayer. Ibn Bazi said, "with the zakat of Fitr."
أخبرنا محمد بن معدان بن عيسى قال حدثنا الحسن حدثنا زهير حدثنا موسى ح قال وأنبأنا محمد بن عبد الله بن بزيع قال حدثنا الفضيل قال حدثنا موسى عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ أمر بصدقة الفطر أن تؤدى قبل خروج الناس إلى الصلاة قال ابن بزيع بزكاة الفطر
Muslim recorded it in the Book of Zakat, in the chapter on the command to pay zakat al-fitr before the prayer, hadith no. 22/986, from the hadith of Abu Khaythama Zuhayr bin Muawiya. Bukhari recorded it in the Book of Zakat, in the chapter on charity before Eid, hadith no. 1509, from the hadith of Musa bin Uqba, with the same wording. It is also found in al-Kubra, hadith no. 2300.Fudayl is Ibn Sulayman. Yahya bin Main used to grade him daif, but he is hasan al-hadith.
