The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On crops watered by the sky, rivers, and springs, or that draw water through their roots, a tithe is due. On crops watered by camels carrying water or by irrigation, half a tithe is due."
أخبرنا هارون بن سعيد بن الهيثم أبو جعفر الأيلي قال حدثنا ابن وهب قال أخبرني يونس عن ابن شهاب
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال فيما سقت السماء والأنهار والعيون أو كان بعلا العشر وما سقي بالسواني والنضح نصف العشر
Bukhari narrated it, in Zakat, chapter on the tithe on what is watered by rain or by flowing streams, hadith no. 1483, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Wahb, with this wording. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 2267.
