Maymunah was asked about how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would bathe after major ritual impurity. She said, "The Prophet ﷺ would have a vessel brought to him. He would pour water over his hands three times and wash them. Then he would pour water with his right hand onto his left and wash what was on his thighs. Then he would wash his hands, rinse his mouth, sniff water into his nose, pour water over his head three times, and then pour water over the rest of his body."
