I once climbed onto the roof of our house and saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sitting on two bricks facing Bayt al-Maqdis, relieving himself.
أخبرنا قتيبة بن سعيد عن مالك عن يحيى بن سعيد عن محمد بن يحيى بن حبان عن عمه واسع بن حبان
لقد ارتقيت على ظهر بيتنا فرأيت رسول الله ﷺ على لبنتين مستقبل بيت المقدس لحاجته
[Agreed upon. Bukhari narrated it in Kitab al-Wudu, Bab man tabarraza ala labinatayn, (145), from the hadith of Malik. And Muslim in Kitab al-Tahara, Bab al-Istitaba, hadith (266), from the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed al-Ansari, through him. It is also in Muwatta 1/193–194 (Yahya), and in Kubra, hadith (22)].
