The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fasted during the month of Ramadan and broke his fast while traveling.
أخبرني هلال بن العلاء قال حدثنا حسين قال حدثنا زهير قال حدثنا أبو إسحق قال
أن رسول الله ﷺ صام في شهر رمضان وأفطر في السفر
[Sahih] See the two preceding hadiths. It is also found in Al-Kubra, no. 2601. Zuhayr is Ibn Muawiya, and he was not alone in narrating it. Husayn is Ibn Ali Jufi, and Abu Ishaq is Subayi.
