I came to the Prophet ﷺ for some need, and found him eating his midday meal.He said, "Come and join the meal."I replied, "I am fasting."He said, "Come, let me tell you about fasting. Allah has lifted from the traveler half of the prayer and the fast, and has granted a concession to the pregnant woman and the nursing mother."
أخبرنا سويد بن نصر قال أنبأنا عبد الله عن خالد الحذاء عن أبي قلابة
أتيت النبي ﷺ لحاجة فإذا هو يتغدى قال هلم إلى الغداء فقلت إني صائم قال هلم أخبرك عن الصوم إن الله وضع عن المسافر نصف الصلاة والصوم ورخص للحبلى والمرضع
