The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to a group of young men and said, "Whoever among you has the means, let him marry, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding the private parts. Whoever cannot, then fasting is for him a shield."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, This Abu Mashar's name is Ziyad bin Kulayb, and he is reliable. He is the companion of Ibrahim, and Mansur, Mughira, and Shuba narrated from him.As for Abu Mashar al-Madani, his name is Najih, and he is weak. Along with his weakness, he also had confusion in his memory, and there were munkar hadiths transmitted through him. Among them is the report of Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "What is between the east and the west is qiblah." And among them is the report of Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, from Ayesha, from the Prophet ﷺ, "Do not cut meat with a knife, but tear it off with your teeth."

خرج رسول الله ﷺ على فتية فقال من كان منكم ذا طول فليتزوج فإنه أغض للبصر وأحصن للفرج ومن لا فالصوم له وجاء قال أبو عبد الرحمن أبو معشر هذا اسمه زياد بن كليب وهو ثقة وهو صاحب إبراهيم روى عنه منصور ومغيرة وشعبة وأبو معشر المدني اسمه نجيح وهو ضعيف ومع ضعفه أيضا كان قد اختلط عنده أحاديث مناكير منها محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة عن النبي ﷺ قال ما بين المشرق والمغرب قبلة ومنها هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن عائشة عن النبي ﷺ لا تقطعوا اللحم بالسكين ولكن انهسوا نهسا
