Masruq said to her, "Two men from among the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, both of whom do not fall short in seeking good, differ in practice. One of them delays the prayer and the breaking of the fast, while the other hastens the prayer and the breaking of the fast."Ayesha asked, "Which of them is the one who hastens the prayer and the breaking of the fast?"Masruq replied, "Abdullah bin Masud."Ayesha said, "This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do it."
أخبرنا أحمد بن سليمان قال حدثنا حسين عن زائدة عن الأعمش عن عمارة عن أبي عطية قال دخلت أنا ومسروق على
لها مسروق رجلان من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ كلاهما لا يألو عن الخير أحدهما يؤخر الصلاة والفطر والآخر يعجل الصلاة والفطر قالت عائشة أيهما الذي يعجل الصلاة والفطر قال مسروق عبد الله بن مسعود فقالت عائشة هكذا كان يصنع رسول الله ﷺ
