Arfaja reported,

I was in a house where Utba bin Farqad was present, and I wanted to relate a hadith. But there was a man from among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ who seemed more entitled to narrate than I was, so the man narrated from the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "During Ramadan, the gates of heaven are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and every rebellious devil is chained up. A caller calls out every night, 'Seeker of good, come forward. Seeker of evil, hold back.'"

عن عرفجة قال

كنت في بيت فيه عتبة بن فرقد فأردت أن أحدث بحديث وكان رجل من أصحاب النبي ﷺ كأنه أولى بالحديث مني فحدث الرجل عن النبي ﷺ قال في رمضان تفتح فيه أبواب السماء وتغلق فيه أبواب النار ويصفد فيه كل شيطان مريد وينادي مناد كل ليلة يا طالب الخير هلم ويا طالب الشر أمسك
