Umm Habiba bint Jahsh suffered from continuous bleeding for seven years. She asked the Prophet ﷺ about it, and he said, "This is not menstruation. It is only a vein bleeding. Leave the prayer for the duration of your usual menstrual period, then perform a full bath and pray." So she would perform a full bath before every prayer.
أخبرنا محمد بن المثنى قال حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري عن عمرة
أن أم حبيبة بنت جحش كانت تستحاض سبع سنين فسألت النبي ﷺ فقال ليست بالحيضة إنما هو عرق فأمرها أن تترك الصلاة قدر أقرائها وحيضتها وتغتسل وتصلي فكانت تغتسل عند كل صلاة
