The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I had forbidden you from visiting graves, but now visit them. I had forbidden you from keeping the meat of sacrificial animals beyond three days, but now keep as much as you wish. I had forbidden you from making nabidh except in waterskins, but now drink from any container, just do not drink anything intoxicating."
Muslim narrated it in Kitab al-Janaiz, chapter, "The Prophet asking his Lord's permission to visit his mother's grave," hadith no. 977, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Fudayl bin Ghazwan, by this route. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 2159.
