Umm Sulaym spoke to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while Ayesha was sitting nearby. She said, "Messenger of Allah, Allah is not shy of the truth. Tell me, if a woman sees in her sleep what a man sees, must she perform the ritual bath?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Yes."Ayesha said, I exclaimed to her, "Shame on you! Does a woman experience such a thing?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned to me and said, "May your hands be dusty! From where else does the resemblance come?"
