Hasan bin Ali was sitting when a funeral procession passed by, and the people stood up until the bier had gone past. Hasan said, "It was only the funeral of a Jew that passed by. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was once seated along its path, and he disliked that the bier of a Jew should pass over his head, so he stood up."
أخبرنا إبراهيم بن هارون البلخي قال حدثنا حاتم
أن الحسن بن علي كان جالسا فمر عليه بجنازة فقام الناس حتى جاوزت الجنازة فقال الحسن إنما مر بجنازة يهودي وكان رسول الله ﷺ على طريقها جالسا فكره أن تعلو رأسه جنازة يهودي فقام
