Abu Saeed and another companion said, "We never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ attend a funeral and then sit down until the body was placed in the grave."
أخبرنا يوسف بن سعيد قال حدثنا حجاج عن ابن جريج عن ابن عجلان عن سعيد
وأبي سعيد قالا ما رأينا رسول الله ﷺ شهد جنازة قط فجلس حتى توضع
[Sahih] It is in al-Kubra, no. 2045, and it has corroborating narrations in Bukhari, no. 1309, 1310, and elsewhere.
