The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wash the deceased pilgrim in the two garments he entered ihram in. Wash him with water and lotus leaves, shroud him in his two garments, do not apply any perfume to him, and do not cover his head, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment in the state of ihram."
Bukhari narrated it, in the Book of Funerals, Chapter on how a person in the state of ihram is shrouded, hadith no. 1268, and Muslim, in the Book of Hajj, Chapter on what is done with a person in the state of ihram if he dies, hadith no. 1206, from the hadith of Amr bin Dinar, transmitted through him. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 2031.
