The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Allah takes the dearly beloved of His believing servant from among the people of the earth, and that servant bears it patiently, seeks Allah's reward, and says what he has been commanded to say, Allah will not be content with any reward for him short of Paradise."
أخبرنا سويد بن نصر قال حدثنا عبد الله قال أنبأنا عمر بن سعيد بن أبي حسين أن عمرو بن شعيب كتب إلى عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي حسين يعزيه بابن له هلك وذكر في كتابه أنه سمع أباه يحدث عن جده
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله لا يرضى لعبده المؤمن إذا ذهب بصفيه من أهل الأرض فصبر واحتسب وقال ما أمر به بثواب دون الجنة
Its chain of transmission is sahih. It is in Kubra (hadith no. 1998), and in Zuhd of Ibn Mubarak (narrated by Naeem bin Hammad, 2/27, hadith no. 106), the teacher of Suwayd bin Nasr.
