When Abu Musa's illness grew severe, his wife came in wailing. He regained consciousness and said, "Did I not tell you that I am free from those whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared himself free from?"He had told her that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am free from anyone who shaves their head, tears their clothes, or wails loudly in grief."
أخبرنا أحمد بن عثمان بن حكيم قال أنبأنا جعفر بن عون قال حدثنا أبو عميس عن أبي صخرة
لما ثقل أبو موسى أقبلت امرأته تصيح قالا فأفاق فقال ألم أخبرك أني بريء ممن برئ منه رسول الله ﷺ قالا وكان يحدثها أن رسول الله ﷺ قال أنا بريء ممن حلق وخرق وسلق
Grading, Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith, the chapter on the prohibition of striking the cheeks, tearing the garments, and invoking the calls of pre-Islamic ignorance, hadith no. 104, from the hadith of Jafar bin Awn, with this chain.
