The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The believer dies with sweat on his brow."
أخبرنا محمد بن بشار قال حدثنا يحيى عن المثنى بن سعيد عن قتادة
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال موت المؤمن بعرق الجبين
[Sahih]. Tirmidhi transmitted it in the Book of Funerals, chapter on what has been mentioned that the believer dies with sweat on the forehead, hadith no. 982, from Muhammad bin Bashshar with this wording, and he said, "Hasan." Hakim graded it sahih according to the standard of the two Shaykhs, 1/361, and Dhahabi agreed with him. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 1954.Yahya is Qattan. See the following hadith.
