The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform the witr prayer reciting "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High," "Say, you disbelievers," and "Say, He is Allah, the One." When he wished to conclude, he would say, "Glory be to the King, the Holy," three times, raising his voice with it.Abu Abdul-Rahman said, Abu Naeem is more reliable in our view than Muhammad bin Ubayd and Qasim bin Yazid. The most reliable of Sufyan's companions in our view, and Allah knows best, are Yahya bin Saeed al-Qattan, then Abdullah bin Mubarak, then Waki bin al-Jarrah, then Abdul-Rahman bin Mahdi, then Abu Naeem, then Aswad in this hadith. Jareer bin Hazim narrated it from Zubayd and said, "He would prolong his voice on the third one and raise it."
أخبرنا محمد بن إسمعيل بن إبراهيم عن أبي نعيم عن سفيان عن زبيد عن ذر
