The Prophet ﷺ would not raise his hands in any of his supplications except in the prayer for rain.Shuba said, I asked Thabit, "Did you hear this directly from Anas?"He replied, "Glory be to Allah!"I said, "You heard it yourself?"He replied, "Glory be to Allah!"
Muslim narrated it in the Book of the Prayer for Rain, chapter on raising the hands in supplication during the prayer for rain, hadith no. 895, through the hadith of Shubah with the same wording. It is also found in Sunan al-Kubra, hadith no. 1436, where Nasai said, "Wahb bin Jareer contradicted him."
