There was no time we wished to see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying during the night except that we saw him doing so, and no time we wished to see him sleeping except that we saw him doing so.
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال أنبأنا يزيد قال أنبأنا حميد
ما كنا نشاء أن نرى رسول الله ﷺ في الليل مصليا إلا رأيناه ولا نشاء أن نراه نائما إلا رأيناه
Sourcing etc, no. 1141, Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tahajjud, chapter on the Prophet ﷺ rising at night from his sleep, and nos. 1972, 1973, from the hadith of Humayd Tawil, in a lengthy form, and it is also in Kubra, no. 1323.
