The Sudanese came to perform their sport in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ on the day of Eid, and he called me over. I peered at them from above his shoulder, and I kept watching them until I was the one who finally turned away.
أخبرنا محمد بن آدم عن عبدة عن هشام عن أبيه
جاء السودان يلعبون بين يدي النبي ﷺ في يوم عيد فدعاني فكنت أطلع إليهم من فوق عاتقه فما زلت أنظر إليهم حتى كنت أنا التي انصرفت
