The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to have the anazah brought out on the day of Fitr and the day of Adha. He would plant it in the ground and pray facing it.
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال أنبأنا عبد الرزاق قال أنبأنا معمر عن أيوب عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يخرج العنزة يوم الفطر ويوم الأضحى يركزها فيصلي إليها
