We were with the Prophet ﷺ at Nakhl, with the enemy positioned between us and the qiblah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the takbir, and they all said the takbir together. Then he bowed, and they all bowed together. Then the Prophet ﷺ prostrated along with the row closest to him, while the others remained standing on guard. When the first group rose, the others prostrated where they stood. Then this group moved forward into the position of the other group.He bowed, and they all bowed together. Then he rose, and they all rose together. Then the Prophet ﷺ prostrated along with the row closest to him, while the others remained standing on guard. When the first group had prostrated and sat, the others prostrated where they stood. Then he gave the salam.Jabir said, "Just as your commanders do."
أخبرنا عمرو بن علي قال حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن سفيان عن أبي الزبير
كنا مع النبي ﷺ بنخل والعدو بيننا وبين القبلة فكبر رسول الله ﷺ فكبروا جميعا ثم ركع فركعوا جميعا ثم سجد النبي ﷺ والصف الذي يليه والآخرون قيام يحرسونهم فلما قاموا سجد الآخرون مكانهم الذي كانوا فيه ثم تقدم هؤلاء إلى مصاف هؤلاء فركع فركعوا جميعا ثم رفع فرفعوا جميعا ثم سجد النبي ﷺ والصف الذين يلونه والآخرون قيام يحرسونهم فلما سجدوا وجلسوا سجد الآخرون مكانهم ثم سلم قال جابر كما يفعل أمراؤكم
