The Prophet ﷺ went out to pray for rain and performed two units of prayer, reciting aloud in both.
أخبرنا محمد بن رافع قال حدثنا يحيى بن آدم قال حدثنا سفيان عن ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري
أن النبي ﷺ خرج فاستسقى فصلى ركعتين جهر فيهما بالقراءة
Bukhari transmitted it, in the book of seeking rain, chapter on reciting aloud during the prayer for rain, hadith no. 1024, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Dhib, with this chain. Its other passages have already appeared, hadith nos. 1506, 1521, and it is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 1827.
