The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The emigrant may remain in Mecca for three days after completing his rites."
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الملك بن زنجويه عن عبد الرزاق عن ابن جريج قال أخبرني إسمعيل بن محمد بن سعد أن حميد بن عبد الرحمن أخبره أن السائب بن يزيد أخبره أنه سمع
قال رسول الله ﷺ يمكث المهاجر بعد قضاء نسكه ثلاثا
Muslim narrated it in the Hajj chapter, section on the permissibility of a migrant staying in Makkah after completing it, Hadith: 1352/444, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq, with this same wording, and it is also in Kubra, Hadith: 1912. Bukhari also narrated it in the Virtues of the Ansar chapter, section on the migrant staying in Makkah after fulfilling his rites, Hadith: 3933, from the hadith of Saaib bin Yazid, with this same wording.
