The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed two rakahs at Mina, Abu Bakr prayed two rakahs there, Umar prayed two rakahs there, and Uthman prayed two rakahs there during the early part of his caliphate.
أخبرنا محمد بن سلمة قال حدثنا ابن وهب عن يونس عن ابن شهاب قال أخبرني
صلى رسول الله ﷺ بمنى ركعتين وصلاها أبو بكر ركعتين وصلاها عمر ركعتين وصلاها عثمان صدرا من خلافته
Bukhari transmitted it in Hajj, chapter on prayer at Mina, hadith no. 1655, from the hadith of Ibn Wahb, and it is in Kubra, hadith no. 1909.
