The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray two units of prayer at his home after the Friday prayer.
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال أنبأنا عبد الرزاق قال حدثنا معمر عن الزهري
كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي بعد الجمعة ركعتين في بيته
[Its isnad is sahih] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Prayer, chapter on prayer after Friday, hadith no. 1132, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq through the same chain, and Bukhari and Muslim and others narrated it through multiple routes from Zuhri through the same chain, both at length and in abridged form. Zuhri explicitly stated that he heard it directly, and the hadith has very many routes of transmission.
