He had companionship with the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Whoever neglects three Friday prayers out of indifference, Allah will seal his heart."
أخبرنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن محمد بن عمرو عن عبيدة بن سفيان الحضرمي
وكانت له صحبة عن النبي ﷺ قال من ترك ثلاث جمع تهاونا بها طبع الله على قلبه
[Its isnad is hasan] Abu Dawud narrated it, in the Book of Prayer, chapter on the strong warning against neglecting Friday prayer, no. 1052, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan with this chain. It is also found in al-Kubra, no. 1656. Tirmidhi said (no. 500), "Hasan." Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, no. 1857, as did Ibn Hibban, no. 553, 65, 554, and Hakim, 1/280, saying it meets the criteria of Muslim, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
