The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded me to recite the Muawwidhat after every prayer.
أخبرنا محمد بن سلمة قال حدثنا ابن وهب عن الليث عن حنين بن أبي حكيم عن علي بن رباح
أمرني رسول الله ﷺ أن أقرأ المعوذات دبر كل صلاة
[Its chain is hasan] Abu Dawud narrated it in "Prayer, Chapter on Seeking Forgiveness," h: 1523, from Muhammad bin Salama Muradi, with this chain. It is also found in al-Kubra, h: 1259. Tirmidhi said, h: 2903, "hasan gharib." Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, h: 755, as did Ibn Hibban, h: 2347, and Hakim, 1/253, on the condition of Muslim, and Dhahabi agreed with him.Layth is Ibn Saad.
